Student Compass Instructional Strategies Bank

The Instructional Strategies Bank is a tool to help you access strategies based on students’ specific needs. It looks at the four areas of concerns that affect student success in school. These include Academics, Attendance, Discipline, and Mobility.

The tool breaks academics down to reading and math which influence all subjects taught. Reading is then broken down to basic reading skills including decoding, word recognition and fluency and comprehension. Math is broken down to look at computation and word problems. Strategies are listed for each area.

You will also see strategies for Discipline, Mobility and Attendance.

This site has been created to be very user friendly. Just click on the area of concern, and it will take you the next section.
