The COS Process: Putting the Pieces Together
Think about a picture puzzle. No single piece provides the whole picture, but collectively individual pieces contribute to creating a complete picture. The same is true of members of Child Outcomes Summary (COS) teams. Each team member brings different information, knowledge, skills, and perspectives to the COS process. Collectively, these individuals contribute to a team process that provides a more complete "picture" of the whole child across different settings and situations.
As you complete the activities in this session, think about different members of a COS team and how their collective knowledge and skills contribute to the COS process. Also, consider the information and perspectives you bring to a COS team and how you complement the process. This session builds on the previous two sessions and takes you deeper into the essential knowledge needed to complete the COS process.
