Maryland Online IEP

Let’s review what we have discussed in the SDI module. We identified the purpose of writing SDI. We identified four key considerations (Diagnostic, Prescriptive, Aligned, and Explicit) in SDI. We also provided details and information for each consideration in developing SDI. Finally, we examined examples of SDI to determine that all considerations were included, and assessed sample SDI plans based on a Wizard Checklist.

Let’s take a moment to reflect upon increasing family engagement in the area of specially designed instruction:

Family Connection:	Write SDI in family-friendly language. Review and explain SDI information with families.

Please take a moment to complete the following 3-question survey on this module. Your input is instrumental in helping us think through and improve on the design of our learning resources so that we can better support you in meeting your learning goals: Module 03: SDI Survey

This concludes the third module. In the next module, we will learn effective strategies for Progress Monitoring on IEP goals and objectives.
